Sensitivity Analysis of Distributed Parameter Systems

چکیده

A wide variety of phenomena are described by partial differential equations, so-called distributed parameter systems. In such partial differential equation models it is often desirable to determine the effect of uncertainties in parameters appearing in the equations on their solutions and also, if more than one .parameter may vary, which parameters arc most influential. The sensitivity analysis of distributed parameter systems poses several problems that do not arise in the lumped parameter case. First, parameters may occur in the boundary conditions as well as in the differential . equations. Second, parameters may vary spatially andj or temporally. Comparatively little work has been done on the distributed parameter sensitivity analysis problem as opposed to the corresponding lumped parameter case. Koda eta/. [I] developed methods for the local sensitivity analysis of constant, spatially varying, and temporally varying parameters in parabolic partial differential equations characteristic of reaction and diffusion processes. In the present work we extend that analysis to a general class of distributed systems and apply the results to a problem in one-dimensional heat conduction.

a Simplified Model of Distributed Parameter Systems

A generalized simplified model for describing the dynamic behavior of distributed parameter systems is proposed. The various specific characteristics of gain and phase angle of distributed parameter systems are investigated from frequency response formulation and complex plane representation of the proposed simplified model. The complex plane investigation renders some important inequality cons...

Studying Dynamic behavior of Distributed Parameter Processes Behavior Based on Dominant Gain Concept and it’s Use in Controlling these Processes

In this paper, distributed parameter process systems behavior is studied in frequency domain. Based on the dominant gain concept that is developed for such studies, a method is presented to control distributed parameter process systems. By using dominant gain concept, the location of open loop zeros, resulted from the time delay parameter in the process model, were changed from the right half p...

Robust Fuzzy Gain-Scheduled Control of the 3-Phase IPMSM

This article presents a fuzzy robust Mixed - Sensitivity Gain - Scheduled H controller based on the Loop -Shaping methodology for a class of MIMO uncertain nonlinear Time - Varying systems. In order to design this controller, the nonlinear parameter - dependent plant is first modeled as a set of linear subsystems by Takagi and Sugeno’s (T - S) fuzzy approach. Both Loop - Shaping methodology and...

تحلیل حساسیت پارامترهای مدل SWAT در حوزه آبخیز چهل‌چای استان گلستان

Over-parameterization is a well-known and often described problem in hydrological models, especially in distributed models. Therefore, using special methods to reduce the number of parameters via sensitivity analysis is important to achieve efficiency. This paper describes a sensitivity analysis strategy that graphically assigns for each parameter a relative sensitivity index and relationship o...
